EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: UK synth-pop duo launch new single 'Oh My God'

Emerging London based synth-pop duo Amberlake today launch their new single ‘Oh My God’, premiering exclusively on Women In Pop.

Comprised of lead singer Emma Lauran and guitarist Nick Tsang, Amberlake formed when Lauran and Tsang met on the London live circuit, with debut single ‘I’ll Be Yours’ released last year. This was followed up in December with a stunning acoustic cover of the Moloko classic ‘Time Is Now’.

With musical roots in a mix of electro-pop and synth-pop plus a healthy dose of alt and acoustic, Amberlake have amped the beat up on the addictive ‘Oh My God’ with it’s smooth verses building into a full-blooded, funk infused chorus. Of the song, Amberlake say: “We first came up with the idea for ‘Oh My God’ when we were talking about past relationships and break ups. We wanted to capture that OMG moment when you’re about to break up with someone and the sudden realisation hits you that ‘this is it’ and there’s no going back”.

‘Oh My God’ is released on all platforms on February 22, but until then you can listen to it exclusively on Women In Pop below.

To keep up with all things Amberlake, you can follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Spotify
