Broods release new single 'Peach'

New Zealand brother and sister duo Broods today released their new single 'Peach'. A stunning slice of electro-pop, it is the band's first release in over a year and comes after a traumtic break-up from their American record label Capitol.
"I think we wanted to be something different than what they saw us being," Georgia told the New Zealand Herald. "They signed us to be a huge pop act, and that doesn't come naturally to us." Now signed to Neon Gold, 'Peach' is the first taste of their third album, tentatively titled Don't Feed the Pop Monster, due for release in early 2019. Written by Broods with Tommy English (Kacey Musgraves, K. Flay) 'Peach' is divine - switching from low-key electro verses to a bold banger of a chorus joined by a hook-laden bridge with Georgia's distorted voice stating "I’m high and I’m low/No control/But everything looking peach now".
“As artists, you feel things at a much more extreme level than people who probably don’t spend most of their time inside their own heads," Georgia says. "‘Peach’ is about feeling all over the place all the time, and then celebrating those moments when everything feels awesome.”
