Christina Aguilera's debut album celebrates 20th anniversary with special releases

The 20th anniversary of Christina Aguilera’s debut self-titled album is being celebrated with a range of special commemorative releases from Friday August 23.

The Christina Aguilera 20th anniversary deluxe edition will feature the original album plus rare versions, remixes and a cappella tracks that have never before been released digitally. It will be available for digital download and streaming on August 23.

On October 4, a limited edition Christina Aguilera 20th anniversary picture disc vinyl will be released and is available for pre-order here now.

A special collector's 20th anniversary Christina Aguilera bundle will also be available on Christina's official D2C store. Limited to a run of 1,000 bundles, the D2C configuration includes a picture disc vinyl edition of the album with an autographed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity, a collectible Christina Aguilera cassette, the Christina Aguilera - Deluxe Edition digital download, and a selection of 20th anniversary retro themed merch.

Christina Aguilera was originally released on August 24 1999 and featured the hit singles ‘Genie In A Bottle’, ‘What A Girl Wants’, ‘I Turn To You’ and ‘Come On Over (All I Want is You)’ and went on to sell 14 million copies worldwide. It peaked at number 1 on the US Billboard Album chart, number 21 in Australia and number 14 in the UK.
