KA'BEL release new single 'One In A Million'

Australian pop duo KA’BEL (Katie Underwood and Belinda Chapple) have returned with their new single, ‘One In A Million

Chapple and Underwood were previously members of the groundbreaking, all female group Bardot who became an international sensation in 2000 after they were formed on the reality TV show Popstars.

After many years away from music, Chapple and Underwood formed KA’BEL in 2021 with the single ‘Broken Hearted’. They have since released several more singles, and last year Chapple released her best-selling autobiography The Girl In The Band.

‘One In A Million’ was co-written by Michael Szumowski, who previously worked with Bardot on their debut self-titled 2000 album, including writing their number 1 hit ‘Poison’. ‘One In A Million’ is a breezy, dance-pop track with shots of funk and disco, with delicious melodies and Chapple and Underwood’s warm and intimate vocals. Lyrically, the song celebrates falling for someone and realising everything is better with them around ‘You’re one in a million, baby / The music feels better with you,’ they sing.

Ever since they launched in 2021, as KA’BEL Chapple and Underwood have proven they are just as compelling artists as they were in Bardot almost 25 years ago. They create music that is joyous, infectious and overflowing with pure pop delights. Turn in and turn KA’BEL up loud right now.
