Lady Gaga announces seventh studio album 'Mayhem' will be released on 7 March

Superstar Lady Gaga has announced her long awaited seventh studio album Mayhem will be released on 7 March. It is her first studio album since 2020’s global number 1 Chromatica.

The album features 14 tracks with production from Gaga, Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein, and includes the previously released singles ‘Disease’ and ‘Die With A Smile’. The third single from the album will drop on 2 February with the music video debuting in a commercial break during the broadcast of the 2025 Grammy Awards.

The album sees Gaga return to the pop music she created at the very beginning of her career, however it is not a regression to past glories and more a reinvention combined with exciting new sounds and perspectives.

““The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved,” Gaga says. “[It’s like] reassembling a shattered mirror: even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way.”

Ahead of the release of the third single from Mayhem, Gaga will perform at FireAid on 30 January, a benefit concert to assist the people and communities devastated by the recent LA wildfires. She will appear alongside artists including Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Stevie Nicks, and Joni Mitchell. Following the release of Mayhem, Gaga will be honoured with the 2025 iHeartRadio Innovator Award at the 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards on 17 March, followed by a headline performance at Coachella on 11 and 18 April.

Mayhem will be released in multiple vinyl and CD formats, along with a range of merch, which will be released in several batches in the coming weeks..
